It is to become a pacesetter Nursing Institution that will continue to service Nigeria in particular and the world in general with theoretically sound and clinically balanced nurse practitioners that will be able to give holistic and quality nursing care to clients and patients with a high level of decorum in a highly competitive and changing society.
To provide integrated, life-promoting, life-applicable nursing education to committed, mentally sound and resourceful young men and women by equipping them with the necessary knowledge and skills required in serving humanity through health promotion, illness prevention and suffering alleviation.
Nursing is an art and a science. The art components incorporate interpersonal skills, and embody certain values, benefits and standards unique to nursing. The science component involves the development of cognitive and technical skills required for nursing practice.
